Membership Options

Pay and Play (£3 per session)

  • Ideal for casual players or those who want to try the club before committing.
  • Pay just £3 per session when you attend
  • Under-18s play for free!
  • Enjoy access to weekly club meetings and friendly games.

Full Membership

Upgrade to full membership for additional benefits!

  • Adults: £50 per year
  • Juniors (Under 18): £25 per year

Note: Full members also pay the £3 weekly fee for club attendance, but under-18s are exempt.

Full Membership Benefits

  • Entry to the Club Championships (Classical, Allegro & Blitz)
  • Eligibility to represent Stonehaven Chess Club in:
    • The Scottish National Chess League (SNCL)
    • The North East Chess League
  • Voting rights at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to help shape the future of the club.
